First post of 2017, where is this year going?! Anyway, I am back with a nice little craft, stationery & adult colouring giveaway!
It has been a very busy year but I managed to squeeze in one final exhibition entry and got accepted to show in The Meffan Winter Exhibition, in Forfar.
My perfect day out is photography filled and having a good old rake in a charity shop, car boot sale, auction or junk yard. I just love finding random vintage fabrics, pictures and ornaments to photograph.
Last week I was up in Shetland for work and visited the Aith Charity shop one evening – if you love a bargain and complete randomness then this is the place for you – and, as far as I am concerned, it is photography heaven.
Art can be an expensive hobby/profession. It is easy to get carried away and end up with a horrifying receipt in your hand at the till. So, I am going to test art materials you can buy if you are on a budget – Starting with the Poundland metallic acrylic paint review.

I started this site to share my experiences with using art as a means of therapy.
I am a trained textile designer and have worked, on and off, over the years in various healthcare settings supporting and leading art classes for people affected by strokes, acquired brain injuries, deaf/blindness, autism and mental health issues.
